Technology

technologyWe believe it's important to keep up with the latest developments and equipment in dentistry. They help us provide dental procedures faster and with less pain.

Digital radiography

With digital radiography, we take x-rays of your teeth with markedly less radiation to you than with a regular dental x-ray machine. Then we can store your x-rays on our computers and access them faster than ever before. Additionally, your images can be sent electronically to insurance companies, dramatically decreasing processing time and resulting in faster payment.

Magnification

We use a pair of high magnification loops, or glasses, to help us perform perfect, precise, and accurate dentistry.

Intraoral Camera

With an intraoral camera, we can magnify your mouth and show you exactly what we're talking about on a screen. This allows you to see for yourself the crack, the stain, the gap, the receding gum line. You don't just have to take our word for it anymore.

Diagnodent

One of the most important things we do for our patients is to identify and fill cavities.

Since even the smallest spot of decay can threaten the integrity of the entire tooth, finding and filling cavities is the key to preventing further problems of all kinds. Cavities often hide along fissure lines, or inside biting or occlusal surfaces. Further, these mechanical exploratory methods are limited to finding only those cavities that are equal to or larger than the probe head. For all these reasons, we've invested in DIAGNOdent, a revolutionary new, thorough means of detecting cavities, so your exam can be fast, easy, and nearly imperceptible.
